We source only the finest loose leaf teas, directly from farmers in China who have spent generations perfecting a single craft. Every tea we carry is chosen for its quality, its story, and its place in the rhythm of modern living.
A Note From Our Founder
Dear curious reader,
Some of my fondest memories from visiting friends and family in Quanzhou, China, are of tea. The moment you stepped through the door, tea would already be brewing. Conversations flowed as teacups filled. Tea was not just a drink. It was how you said, “I’m glad you’re here.”
For more than a decade, I moved between cities at a pace that left little room for reflection. I was always chasing the next big milestone. I didn’t notice how far I had drifted from myself until I was back in Quanzhou in late 2024, sitting with family over tea, with nothing on the agenda. That unhurried afternoon was the first time in years I had truly stopped to ponder. In that stillness, meaning began to find its way back.
I know that I’m not alone in struggling to find stillness in modern life. Yecha emerged from a desire to bring that same warmth and clarity to a new generation of tea drinkers back home. Our teas are not meant to live in display cases. They are meant for your morning before the world catches up with you, your quiet reading hour, your slow Sunday, your gathering of people you love.
Yecha translates into ‘Page Tea’. It marks the beginning of a new chapter for me, and I hope it finds you at the beginning of one too.

Every tea we carry comes from farmers who have spent generations learning their land. The altitude of a hillside, the timing of a harvest, the way leaves are processed after picking. These things matter in making tea that genuinely delights. At Yecha, we source with that standard in mind, every time, without exceptions.

Chinese tea has long been misunderstood. Traditional in ways that feel distant, complex in ways that feel unwelcoming. It doesn't have to be that way.
